In November, 2002, Dr. Trout moved to Denver from Somerset, New Jersey where she worked at one of the largest IVF facilities in the nation, Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. From 1990 to 1996 she completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she remained on full-time faculty until 2001. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology. She is the author of numerous publications in the field of reproductive endocrinology. She also has extensive experience in the surgical and medical management of infertility and in vitro fertilization.
