Cryopreservation
Cryopreservation of supranumery or excess zygotes embryos or blastocysts has enabled couples to undergo additional embryo transfer procedures without repeating an IVF cycle. However, pregnancy rates from cryopreserved embryos are lower than fresh embryo transfers 16.8 percent deliveries per transfer versus 27.9 percent.
