Spring is the season for new life, ushering in new beginnings. For Christie and Sam, this special season is also a time to celebrate the birth of their little girl. And at the age of 18 months, she keeps mom and dad very busy as they balance full-time careers with caring for her.

After being referred to Dr. Sam Alexander and going through three rounds of in vitro fertilization, Christie and Sam became pregnant with their daughter in early summer. She was born the following March.

"It was a very difficult experience, a real roller-coaster," explained Christie. "At times we thought maybe it wasn't meant to be, but we never gave up and the end result, our daughter, is wonderful."

Today, nearly three years after her first visit to CRE, Christie and her daughter still visit on occasion. "Dr. Alexander and his entire staff are great," said Christie. "They truly care about their patients. I never felt like just a number. Even today, when I drop in, they always make time to visit."
